The Old Home

This old road that leads to an aging home, lends itself to let your imagination take sort of a walk. This piece of conceptual imagery, is poetry for my eyes. To take an image that is not literal and create from the base of my imagination, can be at times a challenge. We live in such a literal world in our day to day lives. It takes discipline to step aside and begin a personal piece that strikes a cord to my artist spirit inside. This last week I vowed to not let myself continue with a whirlwind schedule of one appointment to the next. I set out to photograph simply this background image of this lonely road. I felt compelled to add a heartbeat to the composition.
